What you see is what you get, fairly decent Dylan flick. Unfortunately the movie cuts off just before the period in his life when things start to get bat shit crazy but as an “origin story” covering his first few albums, it’s done pretty well. I think Walk The Line is a better biopic by the same director, giving Cash an extremely nuanced display for audiences to see, the good and the bad which is way more interesting watch. A…
Extremely well done character movie, perfect display of what a cruel world can do to a good person and the consequences on one’s soul and psyche. Some pacing issues but excellent cinematography and dialogue, highly recommend.
Last 10 minutes are masterfully done, extremely hard to watch but in the best way possible.
