I am back to logging on here as I fear I have just witnessed greatness. Hands down one of the best films I’ve ever had the pleasure of seeing. Christ!
Needed some more time to fully bake (pacing wasn't great) and every plot point was highly predictable but still a solid satire. Reminded me of exactly two TV episodes: Indians on TV from Master of None and the art gallery segment from the first episode of Sacha Baron Cohen's Who Is America?
I purposely avoided every rating I would come across this film and upon opening Letterboxd, all I can say is how disappointed I am. I'm not calling it a perfect film despite the score, but it's certainly a fantastic film (at least in my view).
Besides some slight hiccups in the acting, I loved everything else. Perhaps how familiar it was to some of Edgar Wright's body of work had something to do with it. Also, any film that makes…
