  The Crow 1994

  I’ll start by saying I went into this pretty much completely blind besides having an idea of how “the crow” character looked.. honestly wasn’t even familiar with Brandon Lee besides hearing his crow film was the best.

  I don’t think all the special effects hold up but most are pretty solid. The film is beautiful and so stylistic, the world building is great very gritty very gotham. Some solid performances with a pretty great cast as well!

  Alien: Romulus 2024

  Definitely not fede’s best… I’ll start this by saying I’ve only seen the original Alien and Aliens, now this… I personally think some of the stuff is predictable like who’s gonna die.

  pros: 
  Practical effects
  cinematography 
  some very sick shots like with the light/chest burster 

  cons:
  third act twist (im not really a fan of, maybe some people like it)
  accents and some scenes are so dark (would have honestly preferred my first watch being at home, understanding the characters…
