Director: Steven Spielberg.
Intended audience: Action-adventure fans and people who like archeology-adventure.
Personal note:
I first saw this when I was rather young, which likely colors my view of this movie. All the same, I enjoy this film greatly. Though, the film does show its age in several parts, and in several sections is historically questionable. (why is a member of the Gestapo doing what should be Abwehr or SA work?)
If you enjoy a good two hours watching a man punch Nazi's, raid tombs, and survive an encounter with the finger of god, then you'll love this movie.

Director: David Fincher
Intended audience: Mix of horror enjoyers, true crime followers and movie aficionados.
Personal note:
Watching this so long after it released likely lessened the impact this was supposed to have. It isn't shocking to see a policeman kill a suspect and deny justice its due. Seeing innocent (for the most part) people being killed, and their deaths being joked about doesn't disgust anyone anymore. Policemen talking, and occasionally nodding along with the words of a deranged murderer…
May there be justice for Harambe, and may there be death for Proximus's Kingdom, The Order of Caesar, and the Eagle Clan.
