Beautiful cinematography, directing, and the black and white never fails to allure me. I wanted to see what Alain Delon was like as a father/ex-convict, and he did a great job as always. I really liked hearing his French accent as he spoke English.
I didn’t like the ending though.
Rewatching this helps me a lot. Robert always gives a stellar performance - by God are his methods aberrant, everything I need and more.
