rewatched for easter - felt appropriate!
I think the main takeaway from this is that both the movie and the message it contains are surrounded by love. I remember telling my mother about this movie's existence and she thought it was sacrilegious. this viewing I confirmed my thoughts - it doesn't really take a stance for or against christianity. there's lots of little biblical references scattered throughout and no part of it feels like it mocks the religion, while also…
