An underrated movie that should've been more popular cause I have no one to talk about it but the friend I forced to watch because I don't like to suffer alone.
The animation is insane. The aesthetic, background, character design are all so intricately made, while reminding me of traditional japanese art. They're not afraid to show the ugly just as much as the beautiful.

My mother and I heard that many people cried watching the movie. My mother fell asleep while I was bawling my eyes out.
Anyways, Dreamworks goes hard with the animation that felt like a children's book illustration and the music that makes you feel like you've won at life. I was a bit skeptical about how Roz could develop feelings, attachment and become more "human", but the story still emotionally wrecked me. I was not expecting that ending Dreamworks.
