So boring most of the movie is just pointless bug shooting. Horrible satire. Great vfx.

Amazingly directed. Loved how the editing conveyed disassociation and confusion. Some very stressful scenes that are hard to watch but well-made regardless. Also, brilliant thematically with the film exploring societal pressures, self identity, idolization and patriarchy. A very dense movie with tight pacing.

Sicario 2015
A brutal and grounded action film that is shot beautifully. The action sequences are extremely well crafted. They have an intensity to them that you don’t find often. The writing is good but not anything special and doesn’t dive deep in to the characters or moralities of the story. Dialogue is well written and delivered amazingly. It is well acted, everyone has great performances, especially Emily Blunt. Music is used well. “Sicario” sets the bar for cinematic action films.
