Yeah, I get it Todd. Everyone dreams of making at least one musical. You took a shot. Cool!

Albert Camus: The Madness of Sincerity 1997
Demystifies the myth of Albert Camus. Intercuts between scenes from his real life, interviews of his closed ones, and re-enactments of his works. Ultimately, it is a very intimate portrayal of Camus- the friend, the father, the husband and the lover. Rather than taking it upon themselves to unveil the man behind the aura of the celebrity philosopher, they let Camus’s close associates, family members reveal that to the audience. Which is why it never feels intrusive even in its most personal of moments. In that, it remains true to the spirit of Camus’ worldview- discarding the superfluous. All in all, makes for a compelling watch.

Bheed 2023
Felt more like a compilation of India's Covid (mismanagement) story rather than a film with a coherent narrative. Didactic and preachy at times, and also tries to cover a lot of things (Covid-induced mass migration being in the background, that brings a lot of latent problems within our society to foreground) within a short time frame, which didn't work. Noble intentions, but too shallow.
