Anora 2024
Liked it more on the big screen but i still have some problems with it.
For a movie called Anora, I feel we barely know anything about her. Within Baker’s filmography this feels like the first time he's cared more about the idea of a character than the character itself.
Regardless, the movie still has great moments, specially on the first half. Mickey Madison is great in this and did so much heavy lifting for the character.

The Sweet East 2023
Very interesting movie which doesn’t fully work for me but I still liked enough regardless.
Reminded me a little bit of Little Murders mixed with After Hours. Really liked the dream-like feel of the movie even if it drags and meanders a little. Great performances by all the side characters, specially Simon Rex playing this academic nazi that wont shut up.
Love the way this looks, learning the director worked as the cinematographer for Heaven Knows What was no surprise.…
