  Robert Eggers does it again! Beautiful cinematography as you would expect, contrasting perfectly with Count Orlok’s fetid, pestilent corpse of a body. 

  The year is 1838 and the once-feared landed nobility are a dying race, their mighty castles crumbling and infested with rats, their parasitic, superstitious ways no longer welcome in a world of science and industry. Their attempts to return to their glory days are in vain, no matter how much violence they can bring to bear. Their time is past.

  1. Lamenting Japan’s declining birth rate
  2. The director wants his son to stop making movies
  3. The movie was made by the ghost of Shinzo Abe and he wants people to have more sex
