Gladiator II 2024
It felt like this film was made by a Gladiator fanclub and Ridley occasionally walked in to check if the DOP was doing a great job. Unlike the first film the sequel doesn't stand on it's own legs. We're missing a strong character with the right intentions and motivation that compells us to experience the strory.

The Fly 1986
It's been many years since i watched this film and i was pleasantly surprised that it's still really disgusting. Great characters as well. And an unexpected arc for the creepy stalker boyfriend. I remember - spoiler alert - when i watched it 20 years ago i was annoyed that the girl had so much trouble killing off dr Brundle in the end scene but i can tell you...if my wife had a shrimpy acid dripping face, Jeff Goldblums eyeballs and a half fly-half metalpod rump, i'd shoot her in the face without thinking and i love her to death. Glad i watched it again!
