  The first half of Anora was a blast - great pacing, fantastic editing, and a seamless flow. But after the midpoint, it started to feel repetitive. ‘The search’ stretched on longer than necessary, slowing things down. That said, Mikey Madison was phenomenal! Still, I don’t get how this won so many Oscars, especially Best Screenplay.

  Visually incredibly impressive. Every other shot could be hung on a wall or sent as a postcard. Some scenes are captivating, but in others, the film lost me. A mesmerizing yet occasionally elusive experience.
