That rocked. The sub v sub fight breaking out into something akin to pirates of the Caribbean music rocked. Denzel brings the heat per usual and Hackman was good.
Denzel was like a dog on a leash and when they finally let him cut loose v Hackman it was amazing. His mannerisms of masked frustration building to that are just so good. He’s the reason why all actors should be Thespians first.
Hard to even really rate this. Crazy how much it presents itself as stagecraft more than anything.
Really cool tho to see the set pieces and this they chose to convey a simple story with no dialogue and limited use of other devices filmmakers came to rely on.
It’s impressive to be this bad. Nonsensical. Atrocious use of the found footage. Just didn’t make any sense. They created the worst character of all time and then I guess gave her covid. And that’s the justice.
Couple fine gory horror moments. Worst demon of all time. Strong enough to like flip a car and pull someone’s head off but loses frequently in grappling.
Why on earth they kept giving a shit about Angela is absolutely unknown to me?
