Mickey 17 2025
Mickey 17 is a book based on the Mickey7 novel by Edward Ashton, starring Robert Pattinson, Naomi Ackie, Mark Ruffalo and Steven Yeun among many other notable acts.
I really enjoyed the film score by Jung Jaeil which elevated the film, the actors particularly Robert Pattinson and Mark Ruffalo were very captivating which had me hooked into watching and the direction of Bong Joon-ho is spectacular! However, the editing leaves to be desired as it did felt a bit long at times but aside from that it was an amazing film and definitely recommended.

The Boy and the Heron 2023
Hayao Miyazaki has done it again. It was definitely worth the wait for his final work. The visuals are phenomenal, very beautiful, immersive artwork depicting the circle of life, but in another lens, a more whimsical feeling of self-reflection and the process of emotions that follows through. It was nice to get at it without any information about the trailers, more magical for me to watch through, which made me feel like a kid again.
Also: birds all around. Them damn parakeets are crazy. I was sitting there in amusement. Overall, worth a watch if you're looking for something magical!
