To watch this film is like to sit in silence for a whole 1 hour 40 minutes 51 seconds. The silence overcomes you and your thoufhts are blocked out by what is going on around you- which is the silence. This film doesnt even give you time to break you down. It just goes straight to it. The way light was used in this film, specifically J.R Oppenheimers flashbacks to the explosion, during his speech after the bomb in Hiroshima, during the government in the process of eventually denying him clearance (idk what the official name of what happened is)- was absolutely incredible.
