I really wanted to like this movie and I'm very happy that I did.
This movie is nothing short of a beautifully crafted portrayal of what it feels like to get by in modern times, while simultaneously trying to keep your sanity. Out of line parodies of Andrew Tate, parallels to a Romanian movie from the 80s and overall amazing performances by everyone involved (especially by Ilinca Manolache) to make every character seem so authentic, all contribute to the commentary…

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre 1974
I can't praise this movie for anything that hasn't already been expressed by someone else.
This movie sets the tone for what's to come quite early, and it keeps up that momentum of uneasiness until the introduction of Leatherface himself. It had me on edge throughout.
The long shots of the inside of the Sawyer house still made me queasy, even on my second viewing, as if I could smell the rooms through the scenes.
