Without a doubt, the best film I’ve seen this year, perhaps this decade. I cannot say enough about the brilliance of filming in the first person narrative. Stellar performances by all. It shines a light on hate and racism which is still, unfortunately, relevant today. Go see it now.

The Brutalist 2024
This is a gut wrenching and tragic tale of a Jewish architect (beautifully portrayed by Adrian Brody) who fled the Nazi regime in Budapest to start over in America. Babygirl 2024
Okay, there is a lot of sex but not a lot of chemistry or erotica in this film. Nicole Kidman stars as a successful professional, married woman who cannot communicate with her husband that he is bad in bed. Consequently, she has an illicit affair with an intern who likes to boss her around in the bedroom. Sorry, nothing about this story was believable to me. The performances were fine but the plot fell short. Save your time and money and skip this one.
