  Probably one of the most overrated stop motions out there. Ofc the visuals and setting are beautiful but that goes without saying. 
  Where it fails is the plot (and it’s many many twists) being incredibly predictable with the motif of stories getting overused to the point it’s annoying. The comedy falls flat and the actual character of Kubo switches seamlessly between being a moralistic saint and being an annoying tyke.
