The only redeeming element of this movie was a briefly featured mid-90s keyboard and monitor, both of which were doing more work in the scene than the unusually bland and flat protagonist.

All these men come from the same shelf at the generic man department store.

Death by production design. I expected more from a horror about purchasing a property and other bureaucracy.

There was no emotional depth below the surface of the painfully constructed images. At its most successful it suffers the "unhappy fate to remind of us something similar but better": Bruegel, Friedrich, Murnau, Coppola etc.

At least Willem Dafoe was having fun.

Fully felt three hours long. Somehow the worst movie I've watched this weekend and yesterday I watched half of Striking Distance.
