Beautifully devastating performances by Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams.
With this and The Place Beyond the Pines, Derek Cianfrance is an exciting filmmaker for me, and I always look forward to seeing what he has in store.
Wish I would’ve loved this just a bit more, but it’s a wonderful yet very sad film overall.
Rachel Zegler does her best to shine through this hollow, dull, and stale retelling of Show White.
Wonky visual effects, poor direction of most musical sequences, uneven pacing, and a miscast Gal Gadot as the evil queen just make this a chore to sit through. The costumes were also kind of baffling. Some were genuinely nice, but the iconic Show White dress looks so… silly in this? Just totally out of place and fake-looking. Very strange.

Pretty sure this is my favorite Meryl Streep performance, only one that is really close is from The Devil Wears Prada.
A lovely film that beautifully portrays the romance between Robert and Francesca as well as the complications of life and life paths that drive people to choose certain partners or lifestyles.
Was moved to tears by the end of the film. Loved it.
