Wished my man snapped some cop necks in this one. Characters and acting were fairly mid, but the pacing and slow build of tension kept me hooked. A well put together film.
It ain’t got a color in the title, and it ain’t as good as Green Room or Blue Ruin neither.
Rebel Ridge sounds like a dickhead’s favorite movie. This is more than that.

I respect a low budget, creative idea as much as the next guy, but this thing didn’t do it for me. I could write a whole essay yapping about “Lovecraftian” horror. And I mean in a bad way—like I believe it sucks.
HP Lovecraft, short for Harry Potter Lovecraft, was a lazy writer:

This was a fun lil french zombie movie. I don’t know that it made sense, but it was entertaining. Basically a few hot french kids who are horny start snorting hot cheeto dust and it makes them hallucinate and hiss like pissed off cats. It also takes place in real time—shot in one take. Definitely great technical execution but the plot left a lot to be desired in my humble O.
