This is an entertaining follow up to Gladiator in which Maximus’s son plays the starring role. The theme of the movie is about overcoming the evil of a decadent state bloated with power and deaf to the needs of its people. A poignant story for our current times.

I cannot rate how well Dylan was portrayed by Timothée Chalamet, but the movie overall was very good. What I liked was the story of a young Dylan being taken under the wing by Pete Seger, and his relationships with Woodie Guthrie, Joan Baez, and Johnny Cash.
