I really, really wanted to like this. And it really did have all the right parts to be good; it just failed to connect them in any meaningful way. The characters had such dry wit, great chemistry. The acting was super fun and the cinematography was literally immaculate. The film itself was campy and goofy whilst also being thrilling and dramatic. I loved how it both commented on the pretentious nature of the wealthy as well as the absurdity of high class art.
