Mickey 17 2025
I really wanted to fall in love with this film. It’s not terrible by any means, but I have a feeling it’ll fade from my memory in just a few months.
What left me puzzled was how the intriguing concept of multiple Mickeys wasn’t the film's focus. They touch on it, but it gets overshadowed in the second half. On the bright side, Pattinson’s performance was absolutely spot-on.

Absolutely Perfect.
Everything about this movie is completely mesmerizing. The performances from Willem DaFoe and Robert Pattinson are career bests. The story is almost nonsensical yet easy to follow, and even then it manages to be incredibly deep and interesting. The visuals are so stunningly dark and beautiful. The sounds of the ocean, rain, and foghorn are haunting and infectious. All aspects of this movie are examples of a mastercraft of filmmaking.
