Promising concept that stumbled across to the finish line. The director himself didn’t seem to know what story he wanted to tell. Very disappointing from someone that directed Snowpiercer, The Host and Parasite. I would not be in a hurry to go watch this at the cinema.

“He could only see what was not there and missed what was right in front of him.”

Had 0 expectations going into this but wow truly a beautiful, beautiful movie. If you look beyond the surface of a weak plot you’ll find that it offers depth in surprising areas.

Emotionally captivating movie where you can really connect with all the highs and lows of the architect but I really wish they had spent more time on the architectural aspects of the movie (library scene was great) It would have been great if they linked the plot of the movie with the building itself - I get the epilogue is bit like a reveal of the architects emotional state but wish this was used more throughout the movie.

Despite being 2 and a half hours long will have you captivated from start to finish. 10/10 performance from Jake Gyllenhaal and Hugh Jackman. Highly recommend.
