  Really really good. Technically and narratively. has something to say and it doesn't pull any punches saying it. Stephen Graham broke my heart in that final scene, and with his and Jack Thorne's script.

  Fede Álvarez was the perfect choice for an Alien film, bringing the franchise back to its horror roots. Absolutely adored all the practical effects and the grimy, claustrophobic set pieces. Although the third act didn't go where I wanted it to, this is still a really welcome addition to one of my favourite film series. Also, Cailee Spaeny supremacy!
