  “The whole thing about Tokyo is a dream. We are all in the fucking dream.”

  In this case, Tokyo is a bad dream (but in a good way). I am digging Tsukamoto’s style of showing and telling his story of decay, violence and death. Being near death, provoking it, fantasizing about it. Thinking you want it but do you truly want death? I love the dirty b&w and the sudden cuts that seem to not make sense but they do.
  Also I think it’s cool af that he’s not only the director and writer but the protagonist as well! and I love Chisato’s outfit!
