  Remarkably moving. Torres is deservedly getting her due for this, but it needs to be said just how commanding Selton Mello is as well in the time that he has. This doesn’t work at all if you don’t feel his loss and boy do you feel it.

  A warm bear hug of a movie. Stylish around the fringes, well-crafted, and carried by three unassumingly terrific performances. I was sad to lose the feeling this movie gave me when the lights came up, and to be able to even create that feeling in the first place is so, so rare. Needless to say, I loved it.

  A nonsensical hybrid of Inception and The Happening, shot like a Saw movie, with a leaden Affleck performance and an overall straight-to-DVD quality. A hypnotic must have convinced me to pay six dollars to watch this. If there were a Criterion Collection for shit movies this would get an eventual release.
