  The absence of Lin Manuel Miranda is sadly very obvious. The songs aren't bad but they are nothing special. The story isn't bad but there is alot of exposition for minimal payoff. I did not need this sequel

  The movie still feels long but more like 2 and a half hours than 3 and half hours long. The intermission definitely helps. And the core relationship between Adrian Brody and Felicity Jones' characters is so real and moving. A great movie and easy recommendation.
