  I knew Tokyo Story was about. It’s partly why I hesitated to finally sit down and watch it, despite my wife always suggesting we see it (Tokyo Story or The Ides of March?). 

  My siblings and I moved out at a fairly young age, leaving my parents as empty nesters earlier than some of their peers. Since then, navigating family dynamics has been a delicate balance—trying to forge ahead our own life while also maintaining meaningful connections with them.
