  Jack Lemmon, who plays Shelly “the machine” Levene, is absolutely incredible. He is the ultimate sweet talking, slimy, skeezy salesman and you know he’s so off putting that he couldn’t sell much of anything to anyone and yet you can’t help but feel a little bad for him. 

  The ensemble is incredible, everyone is doing anything they can to get one up on everyone else, get their money, and who cares about the consequences. This is an honest showcase of the real American dream in action. If you’re not selling then you’re nothing but a loser. Coffee is for closers.
