    I loved getting a glimpse into what happens behind the scenes at the Lesbian Herstory Archives. The passion, the dedication, and the sheer importance of preserving our history. It made me feel important in a way I hadn’t expected because maybe, someday, my life and experiences will be part of those archives too. The film left me with a deep appreciation for the work that goes into safeguarding our stories, especially when so much of lesbian history has been erased…

    a nun and a lesbian walk into a bar

    i’ve been in an elderly lesbian kick recently and although there is only one lesbian character in this movie, there are many female friendships. i liked that the movie wasn’t scripted, i could actually tell it wasn’t while watching and it added an extra layer to the movie, it made me feel closer to the actual people behind the “characters” they were playing (themselves). it allowed their personalities to really shine…

    they try to justify their choices, but at the end of the day, they are men... i found it ironic that so many had doubts about the church as an institution while perpetuating it.
