The heartbreaking and perfectly paced story was probably matched only by the beauty of this film's cinematography. A devastating story of family and the pain that one's family can cause, with an equally appropriate redemptive ending. I cried.

Kind of movie that makes you wish you could just sit and watch movies about cold ass dudes all day. Walken delivers, Larry Fishburne rules, what else can I say. Beautifully paced and beautifully gritty. Abel Ferrara has that dawg in him.
