  I liked this movie a lot more than I thought I would, but I have to agree that a lot of it falls flat. Ani just seems to be a really underdeveloped character, especially for the weight of what is happening to her. Her autonomy is being stripped away throughout the course of the film but in a funny and lighthearted way that just didn’t feel right to me. That said, I DID enjoy it and Mikey Madison DESERVED that Oscar
