I'm not a cinephile, I just casually watch films and sometimes enjoy them.

The whole Poirot series is excellent, but there's a couple of episodes in particular that are true standouts and cinematic masterpieces. This is one of them. Such a brilliant character study. Rachael Stirling is fantastic.

That ending will forever haunt me.

Granted, there are still plenty of classics I need to see. But I'm pretty sure that of all the films I've seen, this one is technically the most accomplished, or at least makes the best use of cinematic language. To achieve such a level of mastery of camerawork, framing, lighting and photography, right from your very first film, is proof of immense genius.

Arthur and Nora's conversation in bed and the scene at the bar are two of the best written scenes I've ever seen.

A masterpiece. Peak storytelling. I love it with all my heart. Bravo and thank you, Celine Song.

Having re-watched a ton of clips, I can consider myself to have re-watched the whole stuff, and all I can say is that this film is rising incredibly fast in my estimation. What I took out of the theater as a bizarre and excessive cacophony has now become an true, inspiring masterpiece, profound, beautiful and disturbing. Damien Chazelle is one of the best gifts ever given to contemporary cinema.

Also, Justin Hurwitz's music is my new daily drug. Can't even describe how much I love it.

I genuinely believe this is the greatest musical ever written, one of the greatest plays ever written, and the greatest mastery of the English language ever displayed since Shakespeare. And that's coming from a literature nerd.

Sondheim is a poetic genius, Furth is a dramatic genius.

This production is perfect and it's the only one who actually got the meaning of the play.

Thank you Company for changing my life.
