    This is basically The Incredible Hulk 1.5 featuring Captain America.

    With that said, I actually enjoyed this movie. I was worried with the all the reshoots that it was going to be a complete mess, but it’s actually decent. You can still tell some scenes were reshot and added in, but overall it’s not that bad.

    Filthy. Grimy. Sweaty. The atmosphere captured in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre is what, in my opinion, really makes the movie. You feel the characters’ exhaustion, you feel the Texas heat. You see the sweat rolling down the characters, the decay in the surroundings. 

    That shot at the beginning with the dead armadillo sets the tone for what the rest of the movie will be like. You feel the bleakness of the situation, watching as the Family picks off each member…

    Surprisingly well-done indie film about a guy who builds a cardboard labyrinth in his living room, with the inside of it being giant.
    The set design in this was super fun and creative, and the blend of comedy and light horror was executed really well. The boobytraps and the Minotaur added for nice tension.
    There’s a whole 2 minute sequence where everyone turns into cardboard puppets while inside. Why? I don’t know, but it’s fun.
