  my mind kept repeating “unbelievable…” to itself so many times throughout this even though the history depicted was all too believable. the sheer amount of skill and passion and confidence required to pull off this movie’s style and deliver such intense tragedy was just that hard for me to wrap my head around.

  a beautiful humanization of my favorite city, and the way it touches on gentrification and Black displacement is very impactful. the cinematography and acting deliver so much emotion.
