  Such a fantastic character study of a film! I very much connected with the themes of wealth inequality and its natural consequences as well as saw glimpses of myself in the psychology of the main character. Well-acted, directed, and written too, to a point where I can definitely see why people consider it to be among the greatest films, at least of its time.

  As this film's original marketing tagline says, "You'll believe a man can fly." And I do. Superman makes me believe a man can fly.
