  As someone who avidly doesn't really seek out or care to watch comedies like this, I quite enjoyed this one. Maybe it's because the gremlin next to me was laughing at every possible thing (joke or not) but this was pretty funny. There's nothing I hate more than a movie (ahem so many recent Marvel/DC movies) that just don't take themselves seriously at all. It's a fine line really, but this one did it well. It didn't take itself too seriously or unseriously, as ridiculous as this movie was. Good one Ryan.

  It's always great to see a movie that gives into it's tone so unapologetically. One that's so sure of itself and what it's trying to say. This was fun and so stereotypically Guadagnino. I love the fine line he holds between something taken as sexual for the sake of being sexual and something sexual that reveals a character's true self. Like Lanthimos, he explores very complex emotions through sexuality and drama but in such a uniquely different way. It's mind…
