  nearly funny for the second half, some of the Josh scenes are like very everyday misogynistic things but basking in this context makes them feel funnier or more entertaining. that being said, a good third to half of this movie is creepingly to violently disgusting and makes me want to crawl into a hole; Sophie Thatchers acting adds to that so so so much meow

  only complaint was perhaps the pacing (in terms of direction); it felt like it whipsawed a little at the start but the rest was so fantastic. delivery of lines was so so good and actually powerful things were said

  christ it's so beautiful I audibly exclaimed at a good 80% of the shots and the colors and everything about it. I haven't seen a lot of Lynch besides twin peaks but the idea that he treats women very well in his movies shines through here so much. I'll miss him a lot! I miss LA in the early 2000s so very much. fractures of sentences here but idk it's so beautiful and encircled by thought.
