I thought about this rating for a couple of days because for some reason I felt I shouldn’t give it a 5.
But why??
I was smiling from ear to ear throughout, I thoroughly enjoyed the music, and found timmy totally captivating.
Sometimes a 5 star movie isn’t the best movie of all time, but just a really great time :)
I loved this film so so much. It seems simple and small and yet is profoundly sad and hugely expansive?

A triad of sexy tennis players moving between desire and resentment was the central pull of this delicious movie.
I loved the way the film starts at either end of a boys to man (queer to hetero??) narrative and moves inwards, slowly revealing the moment of ego crushing spite between the two bewildered puppies. My heart wasn’t stirred to produce even a single tear in this long long (and dare I say sometimes boring) movie. Those people who left the cinema crying rivers, all I can say is I salute you.
