Life really goes how its going to go, instead of feeling deeply sad, it has this sense of calmness to the end of things that is so so so beautiful. One of my favorite things ive watched recently.

I know its a little late but i think the camerawork ln this movie is just sublime. They love to hse close ups in such creative ways and im really obsessed with how to movie handled its tone. The cinematography is just impeccable, i was so engaged with this movie at all points. My favorite shot is one at the very end where sue is running away from the studio and most of the shot is sky with minimal actual character, but its clearly showing the chatacters life or death level of "i need out"

Roses camera is so frequently steady even as we get to scenes where the camera is frequently unsteady- changing from a sense of dependability to a sense of disconnect. Its always steady, always pretty well centered and so sterile. She is so calm its unnerving, and the switch from handheld and not is executed so perfectly.
