The second time is even better. Knowing how the story unfolds allows to catch the hints, glimpses and touches that makes this episode a genuine masterpiece.

    Luca

    ★★★

I can’t find much of the Pixar style in Luca, but the movie is enjoyable, and genuinely captures the Italian character of people and places.
I didn’t have expectations for Luca, but it felt like going to a favorite restaurants and somehow feeling the chef or the management had changed. Not that the food isn’t good, or the place enjoyable, but it’s missing the flair that drew you to it full of wonder.
