As someone who has experienced Ayahuasca I can confirm you might die and come back ready to deal with your shit.
Very interesting movie with many takes on faith, plus it's very cinematic, which scratches my brain in the right way. A bit rushed tho. It doesn't make it less watchable, which is a big thing for an adaptation (looks at Netflix's Avatar, looks at Disney's Percy Jackson), but you can obviously feel when the moment was edited.Translated from by
