  I like Bong Joon-ho when he deals with grounded stories, Parasite is a miraculous film and it's a bit of a bummer this ended up being the film he made afterwards. It's not terrible but it’s very much his Burn After Reading, the thing that has some perks but feels so impish compared to their magnum opus. And it's not just the comparisons to Parasite, if you compare it to Snowpiercer or Okja, it doesn't have either the fast pacing…

  I'd give it a 4.5 but some bits here and there would be a turn off but all in all this is brilliant. Amazing voice performances and the stop motion animation is very humanizing. If Flow didn't come out last year, this would be the film I'd be clamoring as the best work of animation last year.

  A sophisticated thriller. Can't necessarily say there's anything unique about this film but there are numerous moments where Polanski shows his amazing camera work (the final 20 minutes with the note and the pages flying through the street).

  Pierce Brosnan and Olivia Williams are excellent here with Ewan McGregor providing us with the Polanski protagonist who has no idea they are living under a conspiracy, another theme in many of his films, a character disillusioned by what they deem normal.…
