Well acted and competently directed, the movie keeps a steady pace on this interesting take on the influence of media and the ethical questions that comes with it. When does the newscaster influences the story? Where does one draw the line between covering an event and effectively changing its outcome by doing so? At one point, a troubling idea pops up: we should be first to break the News, even if we're not sure it's true. A troublesome thought that social media and the internet exponentially ran with, creating a sea of misinformation in which we, unfortunately, live on.

A Lynch masterpiece, lost highway stands along with Mulholland drive as a puzzle waiting to be deconstructed. The acting might be forced at times, but the sheer scope of Lynch's vision is unmatched in this one, telling a tale about a man reliving the story the way he remembers it, not the way it happened - 'we met at your house, don't you remember?"

I was dragged by a friend who absolutely refused to see the other option ( the only two movies available at that schedule). I thought there's no way that other one can be worse. I was right. A terrible, bloated, incomprehensible movie.
