Civil War 2024
Totally loved it. Civil War used its title as a backdrop to explore war journalism but more importantly the people working in that wild industry. I felt connected to the characters and believed every minute of their experience largely due to the extraordinary acting specifically from Kirsten Dunst. What I loved most is how the movie had such a strong vision and direction and because of that every specific part felt connected and intentional. It didn’t compromise its vision for higher mass appeal and is stronger for it.
