This is by far the best New Zealand film I’ve watched. Its movie isn’t about the plot , but the meaning  behind the movie. This movie really encompasses power, and the unjust the health system has.

    My full review. Buckle up!😆

At its core, The Rule of Jenny Pen is a film that masterfully blends psychological depth with an exploration of control, identity, and the consequences of unspoken rules in our lives. The narrative is both unsettling and mesmerizing, pulling…

After six years, i postponed watching this movie as i felt it was so long. Finished reading the book and gave it a go. Oh my! Watching Shining and doctor sleep back to back is a joy you can’t express!

Such a slow burner you might put it off, but if you can hold on longer, trust me, it does not  disappoint !  Good to see the boy Dan after the first one , and we can’t forget about the man Jack (Jack Nicholson) famous door face

Octavia Spencer’s performance as Sue Ann was both chilling and heartbreaking—she made me feel uneasy every time she was on screen. I liked how the film explored themes of loneliness and trauma, giving her character some depth beyond just being the "villain." While the story had a slow build-up, the tension kept me on edge, even if some plot twists felt a bit rushed. It’s not the scariest horror movie, but the psychological suspense and unpredictable moments made it an entertaining and eerie watch.

This movie is a masterpiece. Its strength lies in its ability to present a futuristic concept in a deeply intimate and relatable way, making you question the nature of relationships, connection, and what it means to love. Joaquin Phoenix delivers too!!!!

I think the film’s themes of isolation, technology's role in human lives, and evolving definitions of love feel especially relevant in today’s world.

In short, Her isn’t just a love story; it’s a profound meditation on the human condition. Something, one way or another we ought to feel
