Revenge 2017
Watched this and The Substance as a double feature. The expanse of the desert and the claustrophobia of an apartment was a fun contrast. In Revenge she is hunting for herself. In the Substance, she is hiding from herself. And because of those differences—the relationship each character has with herself, the level of self respect—both spaces felt similarly sized.
